Christmas Wine Evening - Saturday 7th December

 

Steam train rides at Christmas aren’t just for children.  We are pleased to announce our first Christmas wine train on the Cholsey and Wallingford Railway, in conjunction with local wine merchant, Pierre le Vin.

 

Arrive at Wallingford station from 1900 and enjoy the sights and smells of the steam age, as our steam locomotive prepares to take you on two round trips of the line.  Find your seats in our warm 1950’s carriages.  Sit back and enjoy the journey as you are served six wines to sample at your seat.  We’ll return to Wallingford and make a second round trip around 2030. Complementary mince pies, port and Stilton will finish the evening and we’ll return to Wallingford around 2130.

 

Tickets must be booked in advance and cost £30 per person.
